Legacy Hoopers in Action

The photos below show Legacy Hoopers players, coaches, and families in the gym together at practices, games, and special events.

How We Coach

Legacy Hoopers isn’t just about wins and losses — it’s about building strong fundamentals, confidence, and camaraderie. Our program encourages athletes to develop their skills in a fun, focused setting that is open to girls and boys.

Led by Coaching Director Kenny Lane, sessions focus on teaching core basketball skills in a high-energy, positive environment that helps young athletes grow their game with confidence.

Highlights of Our Philosophy

  • Build fundamentals in a fun, focused setting open to girls and boys.
  • High-energy, positive environment where players grow their game with confidence.
  • Player-first coaching that emphasizes decision-making, teamwork, and game IQ.

What Our Families Are Saying

“Coach Kenny has a rare ability to push the kids to work hard while keeping practices fun and positive. My son has grown so much as a player, but more importantly, he’s gained confidence and leadership skills.”

— Parent of 4th Grade Boy

“Legacy has been the perfect mix of competition and development. My daughter is challenged at every practice, but she’s also supported. She’s playing with more confidence than ever.”

— Parent of 5th Grade Girl

“Legacy Hoopers feels like family. The kids push each other, the coach cares deeply, and the parents are all in it together. It’s the kind of environment you want your child to grow up in.”

— Parent of 5th Grade Girl

“We’ve tried other programs, but Legacy is different; it’s team-first, not politics. My son has built friendships and a love for the game that will last well beyond this season.”

— Parent of 4th Grade Boy

“As a soccer and baseball family, we needed flexibility. Legacy understands that kids are multi-sport athletes and works with us. That balance has been huge.”

— Parent of 6th Grade Boy

“Watching the team battle top AAU programs this fall was unforgettable. Win or lose, the kids showed heart, and that comes from the culture Coach Kenny has built.”

— Parent of 5th Grade Girl
