Join the Fall Waitlist →Program Policies
Six rules that keep our program running fairly and on time for every family.
Athletes must be inside the gym, fully dressed and ready to step on the court 15 minutes before tip-off. Late arrivals sit for the first rotation.
Minutes are earned, not given. Rotations are dictated by practice execution, defensive effort, and game flow.
AAU: RSVPs due Friday at noon.
League Play: 48-hour notice required (24-hour final lock).
Emotions run high on game day. Parents must wait 24 hours after a game before messaging coaches regarding playing time.
Non-refundable once the season begins or a uniform is ordered. Installment plans remain financially responsible for the full balance.
We encourage multi-sport participation. Conflicts must be disclosed before registration. Game commitments take priority once registered.
The Player Journey
Every Legacy Hooper follows the same path — from first evaluation to the competition stage.
Tryout
Attend scheduled tryouts. Skills, effort, attitude, and roster fit are all evaluated.
Evaluation
Coaching staff makes final placement decisions. Independent evaluators may assist when available.
Placement
Players are placed on an Active Roster (8–10 per team) or into the Futures Academy development track.
Compete
Active Roster players compete in leagues and tournaments. Futures Academy players train weekly with call-up eligibility.
Roster Tracks
Two pathways, one standard of coaching. Understand which track fits your player.
Full-season competitive players. Placed on a specific team after evaluation and committed to the complete practice and game schedule.
- 8–10 players per team roster
- All weekly practices and game-day travel
- Full uniform kit (game jersey, practice jersey, hoodie)
- Tournament and league entry fees included
- Playing time earned through effort and execution
Elite developmental bridge. Futures players train alongside the active roster every week — same coaching, same curriculum — with call-up eligibility for games.
- Full weekly practice participation
- No guaranteed game activation or uniform
- Activated to fill in when roster players are absent
- No additional fees when called up for a game
- Consideration (not preference) for future roster spots
AAU Tournaments: Notified Friday 2:00–3:00 PM.
League Play: Notified immediately after the 24-hour RSVP deadline passes.

Code of Conduct
We hold everyone in our program — players, parents, and coaches — to the same standard of character and respect. We reserve the right to suspend any player or family whose behavior disrupts team culture.
For Players
- Arrive on time, fully dressed, and prepared to compete.
- Show absolute respect for teammates, coaches, and referees.
- Play with intensity, unselfishness, and integrity.
- Body language matters — on the court and on the bench.
- Follow directions from coaches without pushback.
For Parents
- Cheer positively; absolutely no coaching from the sidelines.
- Respect officials and opposing families at all times.
- Do not approach the bench to discuss playing time at the game.
- Address concerns privately via the LeagueApps app after 24 hours.
- Trust the process, the timeline, and the coaching staff.
The drive home is often the most stressful part of youth sports for a child. Our advice: Do not critique their play immediately after the game. They usually already know if they played poorly. Instead, try saying: “I loved watching you play today.” Let the coaches handle the film review and mechanical corrections at the next practice.
